People wanted to know what exactly does Rate My Contractor Certified means other then what the brief explanation means in the Rate My Contractor FAQ’s. We first and foremost must speak with each owner or head person in charge personally over the phone to ensure that all details of the business are entirely correct and true. Then one of the Rate My Contractor team members cross checks each detail with the corresponding agencies.
Below is a breakdown of our Rate My Contractor Certified Process:
Step one: Receive/Invite contractor to be part of RMC Certified Contractors.
Step two: Contractor submits necessary information to perform cross checks.
Step three: RMC Team member compiles info to validate with partnered agencies.
Step four: Agencies included; State Licensing board, BBB, Background Check.
Business/Owner Details that are cross referenced:
-Contractor license number
-Insurance coverage and amount
-Included in BBB or not
-Workmanship specialty certification
-In “Good Standing” with RMC community
-In depth internet search analysis
-Background Check
